yes my recruiter isnt telling me much he isnt even awnsering my phone calls it seems like and when i do get in touch he always tells me that hes busy i wish i could change recruiters is that possible?? but i already gave an oath and signed the contract but i don thave a a shipping date? whats up with that

You can change your Recruiter at any time but your best bet is to get in contact with your Recruiter's flight chief since you are having problems with him. If your Recruiter has an office partner, you can get with them too.
It can take anywhere between a week and no more than 16 months in DEP, to get your job. About 98% of the jobs that leave before this October have been given out already. You will most likley be leaving after October of this year, when job billets open up again.
Did you sign a DEP contract or your job contract. If you know what job you have then your Recruiter should know your leave date and have you sign your JOB contract, which will also state the info.

I have a ARMY contract, am in DEP myself. My contract has the date stated under %26quot;START DATE%26quot;
But you have to report to MEPS earlier. Read your contract through.

My husband was in dep for like 3 months before he found out his leave date. then when he found out it was still like another month. dont you have dep call once a month!? just go sit in his office until you get some answers, or ask to speak to his boss!
You can cancel your contract for DEP. I was DEP when I joined 24 years ago, and that much has not changed.
Find out who is in charge of his Recruiting Station and tell them you are getting the cold shoulder. Or google the AF recuitor web site and report him. Just be sure you have your facts straight, or you will end up looking dumb.
