Using a program, A dialog box will appear, I want the computer to always change a drop down box option, how?

We use a internal java based ticketing system (i dont have source code). When we %26quot;close%26quot; a ticket, a dialog box will appear with many different fields. There is a drop down box in this dialog box which I want to always change to some setting when I am in the dialog box.. How can I do that. I can do some scripting if needbe, but I have no access to the source code, so I can not change the program directly.|||Without access to the source you could only make that change with some sort of browser function. I have never seen it built into to any browser like IE or Chrome. The only thing that came close was a sever load testing program I have used.
