If I have clicked %26#039;Always use this program to open this type of file%26#039;, how do i uncheck and not have the recommended program read it?|||In Windows Explorer
Select Tools then Folder Options
The File Types tab shows a box with all extensions that have a default program assigned.
Scroll down to find the extension/file type for the program.
Select/highlight the program and click on %26quot;Delete.%26quot;
The program will remain unchanged, except it will not automatically run the file type.
