What is a good anti-virus program for windows vista?

There used to be good anti-virus programs, but most have been bought by new companies or whatever it is... AVG now wants you to uninstall other anti-virus programs or else you can't install it... and trend micro is now slow and just isn't the same...

So what is a GOOD and reliable anti-virus program that hasn't changed since windows XP, or is new and is just as good as trend micro? because i used to always use trend micro

Thanks

My personal opinion is #9 because, when I wrote my virus code it was the only one to detect it XD
McAfee
Mcafee
For freeware, Avast! But if you want a full-featured AV, I would recommend (are you ready?)......Norton. Yes, the infamous Norton has finally produced an AV that is not intrusive, controlling and bloated. I was really surprised at their new 2009 suite. I read the reviews and Norton got a pretty nice review this year for their suite. I bought it and have had no problems with it on Vista. However, beware that in the review, they did mention that their technical support still left a lot to be desired.
Well kaspersky would be good. Also Widows Live ONE CARE is also a good one. But still you can't limit your self on this recommendations. You keep on researching on other things take the site below for an example then search for other site on what they can recommend you. It'll be wise if you don't rely to much on a anti virus. Learn more way on how to prevent them.
