To make an example (solid facts): In one selection of the Norwegian Marinejegerkommando (the program always change) the recruits had to stand naked on a dock in a cold night, after several hours they was ordered by the instructors to jump in the water, then, after some more time they were ordered to swim through tubes on the bottom of the water. They were timed, and the requirements were pretty high.
