How can I change the settings on my word program?

I have openoffice.org as a word/typing program on my computer.

As I type a word... It shows an extension that could complete the words I'm typing. For ex.. I start to write %26quot;news...%26quot;

and it would show: %26quot;Newsletter%26quot; and if I hit anter it finishes the word for me. Problem is it is always the word I want



I WANT TO REMOVE this setting so that it doesnt show this... HOW?
How can I change the settings on my word program?
Go into the main OpenOffice.org menu.



Select Tools → AutoCorrect....



Select the “Word Completion” tab.



Make sure that “Enable Word Completion” is not checked.
